Global Village Collection
Global Village Collection is a Fair Trade, non-profit, volunteer supported retail store featuring handcrafted items from around the globe! We are located in downtown Delaware, Ohio at 37 N. Sandusky Street.
We strive to support farmers and artisans in developing countries who are struggling to receive fair payment for their work or products. We provide events and programming to the greater Delaware community in hopes of increasing awareness regarding unfair trading practices. We seek to expand community members' understanding of unjust global trading issues and of how they have influence and can initiate change through their purchases.
Purchases at Global Village Collection help to provide a sustainable and fair economic system for the artisans and farmers who would not otherwise have access to our marketplace. We are fully committed to Fair Trade; every product in our store is Fair Trade certified.
Fair trade is not about charity. It is a holistic approach to trade and development that aims to alter the ways in which commerce is conducted, so that trade can empower the poorest of the poor. Fair Trade organizations seek to create sustainable and positive change in developing and developed countries.
A wedding is a great opportunity to buy Fair Trade and raise awareness for the cause! We can help you with matching dresses, scarves, jewelry, hats, shoes, handbags...anything! Even the bridal gown!

Marula Shea Butter Lip Balm
"Marula, Shea, Ximenia, Mongongo – the names of the oils in this lip balm conjure up the African wind in the leaves of the trees they come from, and the rhythmic work of the rural women who extract the precious seeds from their shells. The result is a unique moisturising and soothing balm that helps your sensitive lips cope with cold, heat, wind and dry air… naturally."
$4.95
Hand Made Marula Soap 75gr
"40% of each bar of soap consists of marula oil, and most of the rest is saponified coconut oil. In other words, it contains enough oil to care for your skin and not just wash it. And because we prefer to invest in jobs rather than machinery, Swazi Secrets is carefully hand-made in our factory using simple but ingenious equipment."
$7.95
Marula Shea Butter Lotion
100mL "Swazi Secrets Marula & Shea Butter Body Lotion is all natural, all African. Marula and Ximenia oil from Swaziland, Mongongo oil from Zambia and Shea butter from West Africa bring their moisturising, soothing properties and natural anti-oxidants to this lotion, which is light enough to be absorbed quickly, yet leaves your skin feeling nourished and relaxed all day. Refreshingly scented with lemon grass essential oil."
$14.95
Marula Oil 100mL
"Pure, cold-pressed from wild-harvested, hand-cracked nuts. It is quickly absorbed by the skin to moisturise and relax – especially if applied with a massage by your loved one. It is naturally rich in vitamin E, known for its anti-aging properties, and which also acts as a natural preservative, giving it a shelf-life of at least two years without any additives. Apply to the skin on your body and face."
